The MS Dnieper Princess is equipped with the latest navigational aids to whisk you through the inland rivers and waterways. The ship was built in Germany in 1976 and fully refurbished in 2005. Facilities include two bars, a beauty salon, a massage parlor, an ambulance with an on-duty doctor, a meeting hall, a souvenir kiosk, and a newly remodeled restaurant.
The ship is fully air-conditioned with individual
controls in outside cabins with a large picture window that opens (except cabins
on the lower deck which have portholes). Every cabin has a private bathroom with
shower and toilet, a refrigerator, and adequate closet space.
The elegant Kiev Restaurant, with picture windows on three sides, offers meals adjusted to western taste as well as Russian and Ukranian cuisine. Tastefully furnished lounges and bars offer a selection of reasonably priced wines, liquor, beer, champagne, and of course, a selection of Russian and Ukrainian vodkas. Also on board the ship is a boutique with souvenirs and the art of the cities and villages seen enroute, a music salon, sauna and beauty salon.
Comfortable deck chairs on the Sun Deck enable you to enjoy your cruise while catching a bit of sun. From the large decks you are able to capture the picturesque beauty of parts of Ukraine few tourists get to see.
