The Greeks, the French, the Polish, the Italians, the Jews, the Russians, the Germans, the Ukrainians, the Turks and others – all these people have lived in Odessa and in the nearby area since the very beginning of the history of this city. By 1840 Odessa numbered over 60 nationalities of different confessions who have been living peacefully on rather small territory of the city.

Together we discover the unique architectural beauty of the most adorable architectural monuments of Odessa – Vorontsov and Shah Palaces. We take great photos of Odessa from the Belvedere Colonnade and walk the famous Primorsky Boulevard learning about the history of the most interesting building on the way. You get inside the largest Orthodox church in Odessa – the newly rebuilt Cathedral of Transfiguration of the Savior, and one of the first four original Churches of Odessa – Holy Trinity Cathedral (Greek church). We pass by the Arab Cultural Center and the Mosque, and stop near Odessa Main Synagogue to learn about the Jewish community of Odessa that 100 years ago was the second largest in the whole of Russian Empire. We enjoy the Gothic style of the Roman Catholic Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God and visit the newly built main temple of the Odessa’s Armenian community – Armenian Apostolic Church.
