With more than 7000 exhibits on display the National Chernobyl Museum is the place to learn the true nature of the catastrophe at the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant on the 26th April 1986 that sent tons of radioactive material into the sky and neighboring countries.
Together we take a look at the unique photos, watch documentary films explaining the disaster and learn new facts from maps and documents. And you’ll understand how enormous was the task of bringing the explosion under control, how much many of young firefighters and soldiers had to sacrifice… Their protective clothing and emergency vehicles bring to life the horror of those spring days of 1986.
At the end of the tour we take a seat and watch a very informative and touching movie about life (or what’s left of it) of the Chernobyl Zone of Alienation and how town of Chernobyl, ghost city of Pripyat and surrounding villages look now.
Contact us if you want to see that on your own eyes and ready to take our Day Tour to Chernobyl Nuclear Station.
